The last will and Testament of
Esther Creer of Ballasalley who being weak
in Body but of perfect mind and memory
First I commit my Soul to God and my
Body to a Christian Burial.

Item I leave and bequeath to my oldest daughter 
Margaret the little slate house and the
length of said house of the Gardens
through to the Back fence it is to be
understood that this little Slate house
and garden doth return to my son John
or his heirs after Margt's death.
Also I leave to Margt a Bed stead and
blanket.
Item I leave and bequeath to my daughter 
Eleanor seven guineas to be paid to her
and to no other person whomsoever and
if she do not come to the Island to receive
it the same is to be equally divided
among the other three children John
Margt & Ann. Also I leave to Ellinor a 
Shoal.
Item I leave to Ann my daughter six guineas
and a cotton quilt
Item I leave and bequeath to my grandson
John a large chest, also I leave to
Esther his sister a spinning wheel and
check reel, to be received after their 
mothers death, also to William Cashen a handkerchief
Item I leave and bequeath to my three daughters
Margt Ann and Ellinor all my wearing
apparel equally between them.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint
John Creer my son whole and sole Exor
of all my other property, moveable and
unmoveable of whatever kind debarring
all other claimers of with six pence
legacy. In witness whereof I have subscribed 
my name this 18th day of April 1808.

The executor is sworn in court in
form of law and hath given pledges
for the payment of debts and
Legacies viz William Waterson one of
