Braddan I James Creer or Braddan being sick and weak in Bodily Health but of a sound mind and memory at the Making Hereof do make my Last Will and Testament in the following Manner First – I leave my soul to God and my body to Christian Burial I leave and bequeath unto my son James Creer the sum of five shillings I leave unto my son Edward Creer the sum of five shillings I leave unto any person or persons that hath or have any Right or title to claim any of my good or Effects the sum of one shilling Lastly I Nominate and Appoint my loving wife Elizabeth Creer Als Quark to be whole and sole Executrix of All the Rest of my Goods moveable or immoveable be the of what kind or Denomination soever and this I Do my Last Will and Testament this 17th of May 1809 Witnesses John Cain William Shimmin his x At a Chapter Court holden in the Courthouse at Douglas the 21st June 1809 The Exorx is sworn in Court in form of Law & hath given pledges for the payment of Debts & Legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
